GoodGoing! presents the benefit of coaching in the labour market in SELLALAB
The start-up incubator of Banca Sella in Biella Did you say, “coaching”? What do you mean, exactly?
So what is coaching?
Is it language manipulation?
Is it chitchat?
Is it a new name for old stuff, like training or counselling?
Unfortunately, though coaching is not a novelty in Italy, there is still a lot of misinformation, ignorance and misunderstanding about its nature, potential, and the benefits it can offer to everyone involved in the business world - whether they are professionals, entrepreneurs or managers.
SELLALAB, a fast growing company that works in support of new businesses in the Biella area, has invited GoodGoing! to give a talk on the subject of coaching and dispel some of the myths surrounding the subject.
So, on 16th March 2016, Cristina Gianotti went to Biella, to attend the Digital Drinks Event organised by SELLALAB in their office, a wonderful example of industrial reconversion: a textile factory turned into a co-working space for a number of innovative start-ups.

Career, Executive or Business Coaching?
Before a large and highly motivated audience of old and new entrepreneurs, professionals and managers from the Biella area and beyond, Cristina outlined the basis of coaching and some of its business applications: from Career Coaching to Executive Coaching, while also looking at Business Coaching. As she explained, personal development may be put to the service of a professional context, or company, or business development may be realised by managers and entrepreneurs. The whole explanation was supported by practical examples drawn from Cristina’s ten-year-long experience in the field.
SELLALAB’s Digital Drinks Event
Just a quick note on the initiative: it is thanks to the energy and tenthusiasm of some of its managers, in particular Mr. Simone Martino, that SELLALAB can organise these evenings as opportunities fpr networking, knowledge exchange and dissemination. The Digital Drinks Event is completely free of charge, and its success is growing week after week.
